Final goal would be to hook the N64 via HDMI to a TV/Screen/Beamer/Whatever with a fully digital data path. Somewhere in the future...

The first captured image:
Actually that is assembled from multiple (not successive) captured images because the FPGA's BlockRAM is too small for a complete picture and the Serial connection is to slow for real time capturing. Still need to detect odd and even fields correctly and stuff, but that has to wait till I get my hands on a FPGA board with more RAM. The small errors are from the quick 'n dirty capture code.
